Bio
Michael Vincent Lawler is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for New York's 17th congressional district since 2023. The district includes all of Rockland County and Putnam County, as well as most of Northern Westchester County, and portions of southern Dutchess County. Previously, he was a member of the New York State Assembly representing the 97th district from 2021 to 2022. He is a member of the Republican Party.
